WEEKEND WEATHER ANCHOR / WEEKDAY MULTI-MEDIA-JOURNALIST: WTVQ-TV seeks candidates with experience delivering accurate weather forecasts as well as reporting and shooting news for broadcast and internet. Candidate will report news as an MMJ, 3-days per week and anchor weathercasts on weekends. Applicant must have a minimum of 1-year of weather anchoring experience and be familiar with Weather Central forecasting equipment. As a Multi-Media Journalist you will be responsible for newsgathering, interviewing, writing, and on-air performance. This is a one man band position. Candidate must have the technical and mechanical abilities associated with use of digital video camera / recorders, non-linear editors, and Dejero live units. You must be able to work well with others under pressure and meet daily deadlines. We are searching for a candidate that is highly motivated, aggressive, and a self-starter.
